REACH Timeline.

The deadlines for registration are the same for substances on their own, in preparations and in articles. Each deadline is dependent on:

the tonnage of the substance manufactured or imported per year, per registrant.
the classification of the substance: CMRs ≥1mt/y and vPvBs R 50-53 ≥100mt/y should be registered by 2010.

Note: to benefit from these extended, or phase-in, deadlines, the EU manufacturer/importer must have pre-registered its phase-in substance/s. Pre-registration closed at midnight GMT on 1st December 2008.
