REACH Timeline.

The deadlines for registration are the same for substances on their own, in preparations and in articles. Each deadline is dependent on:

the tonnage of the substance manufactured or imported per year, per registrant.
the classification of the substance: CMRs ≥1mt/y and vPvBs R 50-53 ≥100mt/y should be registered by 2010.

Note: to benefit from these extended, or phase-in, deadlines, substances must be PRE-REGISTERED. The pre-registration period is very short, just 6 months, ending at midnight on 1 December 2008.
If you do not pre-register you will be unable to import or manufacture that substance until a full registration dossier has been submitted. Please go to the pre-registration section for more information.
